Jamming and Japan
1st post in ages. went jamming with the sonnies on saturday. we have a new singer now (marcus aw) because davis is already in melb. soon marcus will be going to london, then the sonnies will be stuck again without a singer. hai...
we also had a new bassist! kerby kwan! and we are very proud of him because its quite an amazing achievement for a dog to be able to play bass! hahhaa
the session was alright. we didnt prepare enough (as usual) and couldnt decide what songs we wanted to play. we tried a lot but only managed one to completion. so here it is:
The Darkness - I Believe in a Thing Called Love
I think the song turned out pretty good! except for the crappy lead guitarist (me) who screwed up the solos and spoiled an otherwise decent effort. in my defense i shall say that the darkness solos tend to be rather more difficult, so maybe we were slightly overambitious with this one.

japan was amazing. it was a pig's holiday, all we really did was eat and eat and eat. haha shit after a totally amazing and out-of-this-world 2 weeks, two lines is all i can come up with. it was shiok la! im concise ok?
